Job summary

Clocktower Talent & Recruitment Pty Ltd – Brisbane QLD is seeking a dynamic Head Chef to lead kitchen operations and food preparation. This hands-on role requires a passion for exceptional food quality, menu execution, and guest satisfaction in a busy hotel environment.

You will manage a team, plan menus, handle stock and rostering, ensure food safety and compliance, and maintain high service standards across breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Head Chef.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS compliance.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is required.
• Strong understanding of compliance and operational procedures.
• Hands-on, proactive attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Team player with leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality daily service operations.
• Chef duties including menu planning, food preparation, stock ordering and rostering.
• Ensure high quality and presentation of food for guests according to standards and timeframes.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment with emphasis on high food safety standards.
• Deliver seamless daily service from start to finish, ensuring exceptional guest food experiences.
• Lead and manage a kitchen team.

Our client is seeking a dynamic hospitality professional to provide exceptional food experiences. This is a hands-on role suited to a passionate professional with food and beverage expertise in a hotel (accommodation) environment and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional food quality, kitchen service standards, and menu execution.

About the Role

As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for kitchen operations and food preparation activities.

• Deliver high-quality daily service operations
• Chef duties, including menu planning, food preparation, stock ordering and staff rostering
• Ensure the high quality and presentation of food provided to guests, according to property standards and timeframes of service
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment with emphasis on high food safety standards
• Deliver seamless daily service from start to finish, ensuring exceptional guest food experiences
• Lead and manage a team

This is very diverse venue offering breakfast, lunch & dinner 7 days

Work a range of rotating or fixed day, night, weekday and weekend shifts as required – flexibility required

You’ll Have
