Job summary

Techforce Personnel is seeking a highly skilled HD Fitter for a permanent surface gold mine role based in Townsville & Northern QLD. You will work on a modern fleet with a home roster, with DIDO options from Townsville. A brand-new camp with meals and accommodation supports the role.

This position offers a clear path to leadership and supervisory progression within a long-term, stable role.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate in Heavy Diesel Fitting, Mobile Plant Mechanics or equivalent (AQF Cert III).
• Solid HD Fitter experience on surface mining fleet.
• Confidence diagnosing and repairing across excavators, dozers, graders, loaders and trucks.
• Current C class driver's licence.
• Standard 11 or willingness to obtain.
• Pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screen.

Drive or bus straight out of Townsville or Mackay.

The fleet you'll be working on

• Liebherr R9150 and Hitachi EX1200 excavators


• CAT 777 haul trucks

• CAT 980 and 988 loaders


• Compactor and water carts


• 2 x Moxy dump trucks

What you'll bring
