Job summary

Macmahon is seeking an HD Fitter to join the Mount Margaret project near Mt Isa, QLD. You will perform diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on CAT, Hitachi and Liebherr mobile equipment, working as part of a skilled maintenance team to keep the fleet safe and productive.

Roster is 7:7 DIDO with hourly rate up to $85, offering a supportive culture and opportunities to grow skills in a major mining operation.

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised trade is required.
• Experience with Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME), ideally in surface mining.
• Commitment to safe work practices and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on CAT, Hitachi & Liebherr fleet.
• Complete servicing to OEM standards and site procedures.
• Support equipment availability and safe, reliable performance.
• Speak up and contribute to our culture; everyone home safe, every swing.
• Work closely with production and planning teams to schedule work.

About the Role

We are looking for a HD Fitter to join the team! You’ll carry out repairs, servicing and diagnostics on mobile plant across our Mount Margaret Project. You’ll work alongside experienced teammates who share knowledge and support each other to get the job done safely and efficiently.

• Rate: Up to $85 per hour (temp to perm)
