Job summary

National Group is seeking experienced HD Diesel Fitters / Plant Mechanics for our TSF project at Sino Iron mine. You will service, maintain and repair heavy equipment including D11 dozers, 830E/793 trucks, EX5600 and more, ensuring uptime and safe operations.

From Perth, FIFO flights, accommodation and meals are provided. This permanent full-time role offers a competitive salary, day/night roster options and ongoing site support to help you be productive and safe on site.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate required (HD Fitter or Plant Mechanic).
• Experience with CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi mining equipment preferred.
• Clean shaven or willing to wear a PAPR mask as required.
• Solid commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a fleet of mining equipment including D11 dozers and 830E/793 trucks.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs safely and efficiently.
• Accurate maintenance records via AMT.
• Follow site procedures and collaborate with a tight-knit team to minimise machine downtime.

The Role

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Service, maintain and repair a fleet of D11 dozers, 830E & 793 Dump Trucks, EX5600 Excavator, 24M Graders, WA1200 Loaders and 785 & 777 Water Trucks
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs safely and efficiently
• Accurate maintenance records via AMT
• Follow site procedures
• Collaborate with a tight-knit team to minimise machine downtime

What We’re Looking For

• Heavy-Duty Fitter or Plant Mechanic trade certificate
• HR driver’s licence
• Experience with CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi mining equipment preferred
• Clean shaven or willing to wear a PAPR mask as required
• Solid commitment to safety and teamwork
