Job summary

Launch Recruitment in Melbourne, VIC is seeking a Payroll/ HCM Engineer to join the Workforce Systems team. You will support, optimise and maintain enterprise HCM and payroll platforms, ensuring stability and alignment with business priorities.

Reporting to the Head of Workforce Systems, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams and vendors to drive continuous improvement, governance and service delivery across the full service lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting HCM, HRIS and/or payroll systems.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications and service management practices.
• Experience with change, release, incident and problem management processes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, documentation and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing configuration, operation and enhancement of HCM and payroll platforms.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Coordinate incidents, problems, changes and service delivery activities.
• Support testing, releases, cutovers and service transition activities.
• Maintain operational documentation, procedures, reporting and knowledge articles.
• Support compliance, security, audit and governance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, standardisation and supportability.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors and delivery partners.
