Job summary

Johnstons Transport Industries is seeking a Heavy Vehicle Truck Driver for our Smithfield and Marrickville depots in the Sydney area. The role involves container transport on a day shift, delivering across the Sydney Metro region, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates will hold an HC licence, have excellent driving skills, and understand load restraint. White Card/MSIC preferred but not essential; forklift licence is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver container freight across Sydney Metro and regional areas.
• Operate heavy vehicles from Smithfield or Marrickville depots.
• Coordinate with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Ensure safety and compliance with load restraints.

What we are looking for is:

Heavy Vehicle Truck Driver for our Smithfield and or Marrickville Depots.

Hard Working & Reliable and willing to take on new challenges

Container Transport

This role reports directly to our operations dispatch team.

Requirements of the role:

• HC Licence
• Excellent driving skills
• Load Restraint knowledge a must.
• Construction Whitecard &/or MSIC would be preferred but not essential
• Safety conscious with 'Service First' approach
• Self-starter with a proactive & positive attitude.
• Forklift license a bonus.
