Dunsteel Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced HC driver for a hands-on logistics role in Moss Vale. You will drive locally with occasional interstate trips, loading/unloading steel and ensuring loads are properly secured.

Qualifications

• HC licence mandatory.
• Forklift licence mandatory.
• Proven experience hauling steel or heavy loads.
• Strong load restraint knowledge.
• Physically fit and able to perform yard tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate HC trucks on local routes with occasional interstate runs.
• Load and unload structural steel safely and efficiently.
• Ensure loads are properly secured with no shortcuts.
• Assist with forklift duties around the yard.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete basic paperwork.
• Collaborate with workshop and yard teams.
• Adhere to WHS, fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate HC trucks on mostly local, and occasional interstate routes
• Load and unload structural steel safely and efficiently
• Ensure every load is properly secured - no shortcuts allowed
• Assist with forklift duties around the yard
• Conduct daily truck inspections and complete basic paperwork
• Collaborate with the workshop and yard teams
• Adhere strictly to WHS, fatigue management, and Chain of Responsibility regulations
• Valid HC Licence (mandatory)
• Valid Forklift Licence (mandatory)
• Proven experience hauling steel or other heavy loads
• Strong grasp of load restraint techniques
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Physically fit and willing to participate in yard tasks

Desirable Qualifications:

• Dogging and rigging certifications are a plus
