Job summary

Randstad Australia is seeking an experienced HC Truck Driver for local shuttle runs in Laverton, VIC. Immediate start available. You will operate HC semi-trailers, perform pre-trip checks, and ensure load integrity, safety and compliance with CoR.

Day shift, home every night, with a competitive rate of $41.66 per hour plus super. Dangerous Goods license is a bonus. Reliability and a clean driving history are essential, along with a strong commitment to workplace health and safety and safe

Qualifications

• Valid unrestricted HC Driver's Licence.
• Recent experience driving semi-trailers; shuttle experience is advantageous.
• Commitment to health and safety and safe driving practices.
• Reliable, punctual, able to start immediately; clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating HC semi-trailer vehicles for local shuttle runs.

Job Description

URGENT: Experienced HC Truck Drivers Wanted - Shuttle Runs Location: Laverton, VIC Pay Rate: $41.66 per hour + Super Shift: Day Shift (6:00 AM - 7:00 AM starts) Start Date: IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operating HC semi-trailer vehicles for local, high-frequency shuttle runs. Executing safe and efficient coupling and uncoupling of trailers. Performing thorough pre-start and post-trip vehicle maintenance checks.

Safely reversing and maneuvering semi-trailers within tight depot yards and loading docks. Monitoring load security and ensuring compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and mass limits. Accurately completing all required transport documentation, run sheets, and fatigue management logbooks.

What We Are Looking

For: A valid, unrestricted HC (Heavy Combination) Driver's Licence. Proven, recent experience driving semi-trailers (shuttle experience is highly regarded).

A strong commitment to workplace health and safety and safe driving practices. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to start immediately. A clean driving history.

Bonus: A valid Dangerous Goods (DG) license is highly advantageous. What
