Job summary

Randstad is actively seeking experienced HC Truck Drivers for shuttle runs from Laverton depot, VIC. This local role offers a stable day shift, immediate start, and an attractive hourly rate of $41.66 plus super. You will operate HC semi-trailers for high-frequency shuttle runs and perform pre- and post-trip checks.

Ideal candidates have recent HC driving experience, a commitment to safety, reliability, and the ability to start immediately. DG license is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating HC semi-trailer vehicles for local, high-frequency shuttle runs.
• Executing safe and efficient coupling and uncoupling of trailers.
• Performing thorough pre-start and post-trip vehicle maintenance checks.
• Safely reversing and maneuvering semi-trailers within tight depot yards and loading docks.
• Monitoring load security and ensuring compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and mass limits.
• Accurately completing all required transport documentation, run sheets, and fatigue management logbooks.

URGENT: Experienced HC Truck Drivers Wanted – Shuttle Runs

Location: Laverton, VIC Pay Rate: $41.66 per hour + Super Shift: Day Shift (6:00 AM – 7:00 AM starts) Start Date: IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Drivers for ongoing semi-trailer shuttle runs based out of our busy Laverton depot. If you are an experienced operator looking for stable day shift hours and a great hourly rate, we want to hear from you today.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operating HC semi-trailer vehicles for local, high-frequency shuttle runs.

Executing safe and efficient coupling and uncoupling of trailers.

Performing thorough pre-start and post-trip vehicle maintenance checks.

Safely reversing and maneuvering semi-trailers within tight depot yards and loading docks.

Monitoring load security and ensuring compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and mass limits.

Accurately completing all required transport documentation, run sheets, and fatigue management logbooks.

What We Are Looking For:

Proven, recent experience driving semi-trailers (shuttle experience is highly regarded).

A strong commitment to workplace health and safety and safe driving practices.

Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to start immediately.

Bonus: A valid Dangerous Goods (DG) license is highly advantageous.
