Toll Group is seeking reliable HC and MC drivers for the Port Kembla depot on an afternoon shift. You will safely transport steel products across Sydney and Illawarra, delivering with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service.

Casual ongoing roles offer genuine temp-to-perm opportunities for drivers who perform consistently. Candidates should hold HC/MC licences, with load restraint experience and the ability to reverse trailers when required.

Qualifications

• HC or MC licence is required.
• 2+ years' professional HC/MC driving experience.
• Experience and confidence reversing trailers is preferred.
• Load restraint experience for steel products is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver steel products throughout the local Illawarra region and into Sydney.
• Ensure loads are secured safely and correctly prior to transport.
• Follow all site procedures, schedules and instructions.
• Complete run sheets and transport documentation accurately.
• Maintain compliance with fatigue management, road transport and workplace safety requirements.
• Represent the business professionally when dealing with customers and site personnel.

HC & MC Drivers | Afternoon Shift | $53+

Toll is seeking reliable and safety-focused HC and MC Drivers to join our Toll depot based in Port Kembla.

These are casual ongoing positions with genuine temp-to-permanent opportunities for drivers who demonstrate strong performance and commitment.

The Role

Working from our Toll depot in Port Kembla, you'll be responsible for the safe transport and delivery of steel products throughout Sydney and Wollongong. You'll join a professional team that values safety, quality, and customer service.

The site are currently looking for drivers on afternoon shift, starting between 3:30pm-6pm.

Experience with load restraint and/or steel is advantageous but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver steel products throughout the local Illawarra region and into Sydney
• Ensure loads are secured safely and correctly prior to transport
• Follow all site procedures, schedules and instructions
• Complete run sheets and transport documentation accurately
• Maintain compliance with fatigue management, road transport and workplace safety requirements
• Represent the business professionally when dealing with customers and site personnel

Skills & Experience

• Current HC or MC Licence
• Minimum 2 years' professional truck driving experience in HC or MC vehicles
• Experience and confidence reversing trailers
• Physically capable of handling load restraint requirements for steel products
• Flexible availability, including being available at short notice when required
• Strong communication and numeracy skills
• Steel transport and load restraint experience highly regarded but not essential
• MSIC or willing to obtain
