Job summary

Toll Group is seeking experienced HC and MC drivers for their Port Kembla site. These casual, ongoing roles offer temp-to-perm opportunities for proven performers with morning and afternoon shifts (4-6 per week).

You will deliver steel products across the Illawarra region and into Sydney, with a strong focus on safety, load restraint, and compliance. Applicants must hold an HC or MC licence and have 2 years of professional truck driving experience.

Qualifications

• HC or MC licence holder.
• Minimum 2 years professional truck driving experience.
• Experience reversing trailers.
• Load restraint experience advantageous but not essential.
• Flexible availability with short notice when required.
• Strong communication and numeracy skills.
• MSIC or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Ensure loads are secured safely and correctly prior to transport
• Follow all site procedures, schedules and instructions
• Complete run sheets and transport documentation accurately
• Maintain compliance with fatigue management, road transport and workplace safety requirements

Job description

Toll Recruit are currently seeking experienced HC and MC Drivers for our client based in Port Kembla. These are casual, ongoing positions with temp to perm opportunities for proven performers. The site currently have morning and afternoon shifts available (4-6 shifts per week).

Delivering a variety of steel products, drivers will be expected to have a strong focus on safety and compliance. Experience with load restraint and/or steel is advantageous but not essential.

Delivery routes are within the local region as well as runs into Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

Skills & Experience

• Current HC or MC Licence
• Minimum 2 years' professional truck driving experience in HC or MC vehicles
• Experience and confidence reversing trailers
• Physically capable of handling load restraint requirements for steel products
• Flexible availability, including being available at short notice when required
• Strong communication and numeracy skills
• Steel transport and load restraint experience highly regarded but not essential
• MSIC or willing to obtain
