Job summary

Labourforce is seeking experienced HC Truck Drivers for a well-established transport operation based out of Acacia Ridge, Brisbane. The role covers regional runs across North, South and West QLD with some local work.

Shifts start at 6:00am, 10-hour days, Monday to Friday, with potential longer days and occasional weekend work. Drivers will operate a 21,000L tanker and may sleep in the cab on regional runs.

Qualifications

• Valid HC (Heavy Combination) Licence and ability to drive manual transmission trucks.
• Regional driving experience is highly regarded.
• Comfortable with NHVR fatigue management rules and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, reliable and safety-focused.
• Willingness to sleep in the truck cab when required and commute to Acacia Ridge.

Responsibilities

Labourforce is currently seeking experienced HC Truck Drivers for a well-established transport operation based out of Acacia Ridge, Brisbane. This role involves a mix of regional runs across North, South and West QLD, with some local work depending on operational requirements.

This is a great opportunity for reliable drivers who are comfortable with longer runs, customer interaction, and operating specialised tanker equipment.

Shift & Hours

• Start Time: 6:00am
• Pay Rate: $36.73/hr
• Typical Hours: 10-hour days (average)
• Roster: Monday to Friday
• Occasional longer days (up to ~12 hours) depending on operational needs
• Occasional weekend work may be required

About the Role

• Operating a 21,000L tanker truck with single trailer
• Completing regional transport runs with occasional local deliveries
• Delivering to fuel stations, transport companies, and commercial customers
• Drivers will be required to sleep in the truck cab during regional runs (no motels provided)
• Collecting delivery confirmations and ensuring paperwork is completed correctly
• Reporting directly to the Branch Operations Supervisor
• Ensuring time cards are completed and signed off appropriately

Requirements
