Job summary

Xpress Freight Management in Brisbane is hiring a permanent HC Driver to join our Acacia Ridge depot. You will play a crucial role in safely transporting goods to destinations around Brisbane and ensuring on-time deliveries.

The ideal candidate holds a valid HC license with a clean driving record, can work autonomously, and communicates clearly. You will undergo Drug and Alcohol testing and Police Checks; we are an equal opportunity employer with opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Daily prestart checks.
• Safely operate vehicles for freight distribution in and around Brisbane.
• Complete and supply mandatory daily run sheet information.
• Adhering to safety and compliance policies, procedures & expectations.
• Ensure correct, secure and safe loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Comply with WHS and NHVR regulation and legislation.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle any issues that may arise during delivery.

About the Role

Due to continued growth, we have a vacancy for a permanent HC Driver to join our team in Acacia Ridge, QLD. Youwill play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods to various destinations.

This role is key to our success as a business as all freight within our network is moved using trucks. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work autonomously and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Prestart checks.

Safely and efficiently operate vehicles for freight distribution in and around Brisbane.

Complete and supply mandatory daily run sheet information in the format required.

Adhering to the safety and compliance policies, procedures & expectations.

Ensure correct, secure and safe loading and unloading of vehicles.

Comply with all WHS and NHVR regulation and legislation.

Provide excellent customer service and handle any issues that may arise during delivery.

Key qualifications and Experience:

Experience in working within a fast paced, high volume transport environment is a must.

Valid HC License with a clean driving record

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Current driver history report.

A professional approach and \"can-do\" attitude.

All candidates will be subject to a Drug and Alcohol testing.

All candidates will need to supply a current Police Check.
