Job summary

Roadmaster Refrigerated Transport in Nowra, NSW is seeking a Night Shift HC Driver for a full-time role based at the Nowra depot. The position involves a set run five nights per week and delivering refrigerated goods across regional NSW.

Applicants should have a valid HC/B-doubles background and be able to perform pre-/post-trip checks and manual loading tasks. Experience with heavy vehicle operation, knowledge of NSW road networks, and the ability to pass medical testing are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience driving refrigerated semi-trailers or B-doubles.
• Physically fit for manual unloading.
• Able to operate a heavy vehicle safely and professionally.
• Knowledge of regional NSW road networks and transport regulations.
• Able to pass medical including drug and alcohol testing.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work independently.
• Willing to learn electronic reporting tools (tablets).
• Strong safety mindset and think safety attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating refrigerated semi-trailers to transport goods across regional NSW.
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness.
• Adhering to road transport regulations and company policies.
• Maintaining accurate logbooks and trip documentation.

About the role

As an HC (Heavy Combination) Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of refrigerated goods across regional NSW. Based at our Nowra depot, this Full-time role involves a set run 5 nights a week. This offers the opportunity for regular driving routes and a consistent work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating refrigerated semi-trailers to transport goods across regional NSW
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness

To be successful in this role you’ll have:
