Job summary

Global Express is seeking a qualified HC Driver to commence immediately at our Emerald depot. This permanent full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate plus a location allowance and 15% superannuation.

Overtime and weekend work may be available as required, with both automatic and manual heavy vehicles to be driven. You must hold an Unconditional HC Licence, have experience in a similar role, and a safety-first approach with WHS compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Unconditional HC Licence and be able to drive Automatic and Manual vehicles.
• Experience in a similar heavy vehicle role with a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to perform pre-start checks and comply with WHS procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries and pickups within time frames.
• Restrain loads safely with straps and chains where required.
• Follow company procedures including hazard and incident reporting.

Job description

• Team Global Express is currently seeking a qualified HC Driver to commence immediately at our Depot located in Emerald.
• This is a Permanent Full Time position
• Overtime is Available for this role – Work up to 12 hours per day depending on Business Requirements. Weekend work may also be available when required.
• You must hold an Unconditional HC Licence. You must be able to drive a combination of Automatic and Manual Heavy Vehicles
• Must have previous experience in a similar role
• Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently
• Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes
• Complete deliveries and pick ups promptly and according to time frames
• Restraint loads safely as well as the correct use of straps and chains where required
• Complete own vehicle pre-start checks

• The successful applicant will be entitled to 15% Superannuation and a Location Allowance which applies to all ordinary hours worked
