Job summary

Aurizon is seeking an experienced operational leader to support the safe, reliable and efficient delivery of off-road haulage services at Murrin Murrin in Western Australia. You will report to the Superintendent MMO Haulage and guide employees and contractors to meet safety, customer and performance targets.

You will lead day-to-day operations, coordinate resources, foster safety, and drive continuous improvement within a large-scale haulage operation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading frontline operational teams in safety-critical environments.
• Strong safety leadership and risk management commitment.
• Experience with workforce planning and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline leadership to employees and contractors.
• Ensure safe, efficient haulage delivery and adherence to requirements.
• Coordinate people, equipment and resources to meet needs.
• Monitor performance and drive productivity improvements.
• Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop team capability and succession planning.
