Job summary

Aurizon is seeking an experienced operational leader to support the safe, reliable and efficient delivery of off-road haulage services at Murrin Murrin on a FIFO 2/1 roster.

Reporting to the Superintendent MMO Haulage, you will lead frontline crews and contractors, drive safety culture, and ensure performance targets are met while developing team capability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading frontline teams in safety-critical environments.
• Strong safety leadership and risk management.
• Ability to plan workforce and allocate resources.
• Excellent communication and problem solving.
• Ability to build relationships with employees, contractors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture across haulage activities.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to operational employees and contractors.
• Ensure haulage services are delivered safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate people, equipment and resources to meet needs.
• Monitor performance and drive productivity improvements.
• Support workforce capability through development and performance management.
• Manage activities in line with standards and safety obligations.
• Conduct incident investigations and timely corrective actions.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to achieve objectives.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
