Job summary

Glencore Australia’s McArthur River Mine seeks a Haul Truck Operator to join our mining team. The role focuses on safe operation of heavy trucks on a FIFO 2/2 roster from Darwin, with 12-hour shift cycles and a physically demanding remote environment.

We value candidates with mining truck experience, strong safety focus, and excellent communication and teamwork. A current driver’s licence is essential, with opportunities for career growth within a leading zinc producer.

About you

• Committed to safety and the professional operation of heavy machinery.
• Able to reliably work 12-hour day and night shifts on a FIFO 2/2 roster (ex. Darwin).
• Physically able and comfortable working in a remote and physically demanding environment.
• Consideration will be given to candidates who have experience operating civil heavy vehicles or other professional drivers.
• Experience operating heavy vehicles or civil machinery; mining experience with 789, 793, or CAT 785 trucks is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team focus.
• Respectful and able to positively contribute to MRM’s culture.
• Hold a current driver’s licence.
