Job summary

Quantifi Photonics, part of the Teradyne family, is seeking a Hardware Engineer in Australia to design, develop, integrate, and validate electronic hardware for photonics test systems. You will work across analogue, digital, mixed-signal and embedded domains with rigorous verification and documentation practices.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and manufacturability, establish manufacturing tests, and contribute to continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in electronic hardware design, development, testing, or support.
• Experience with analogue, digital, mixed-signal, and/or power electronics.

Responsibilities

• Own design and development of circuits, PCBs, and hardware modules for photonics test systems.
• Translate requirements into hardware specs, test plans, and verification evidence.
• Perform schematic capture, component selection, design analysis, and PCB layout.
