Job summary

Lumina Corp is seeking a Photonics Fabrication and Test Engineer to turn device concepts into repeatable, high‑yield fabrication flows and continuously improve them. This hands‑on role spans process development, integration, metrology, and yield, working closely with design and test to close the loop fast.

The role focuses on end‑to‑end photonics processing, robust metrology, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive device performance and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2+ years hands-on semiconductor/photonics fabrication process experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end photonics process flows (process integration, recipe development, yield improvement).
• Run core cleanroom steps: lithography, etch, deposition, lift-off, cleaning, anneals.
• Establish robust process windows, controls, and documentation.
• Drive metrology and feedback loops to correlate process to device performance.
• Collaborate across fabrication, design, and characterization to improve performance, repeatability, and manufacturability.
• Run post-fabrication test and characterization flows to measure design performance.
