Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Hardware Asset Manager in Australia to oversee end-to-end hardware asset management, including deployment, lifecycle, and disposal. You will maintain CMDB/AMDB data, coordinate logistics, and ensure policy compliance in ITIL-aligned processes.

You must have Australian citizenship and be comfortable working in a hybrid setup across multiple city locations. Strong data analysis and stakeholder management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong End User Compute delivery experience.
• Understanding of end-to-end hardware request and deployment processes.
• Passion for excellent customer service and value delivery.
• Experience documenting and implementing policies, processes, and procedures.
• Ability to analyse large data sets and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the effective delivery of high-quality Hardware Asset Management services.
• Daily administration of Hardware Asset Management activities.
• Ensure compliance across HAM policies, processes, and procedures.
• Lead adherence to HAM processes in line with customer requirements and ITIL practices.
• Implement and manage CMDB and AMDB.
• Maintain asset information in AMDB/CMDB to support IT services.
• Coordinate logistics of the hardware lifecycle including collection, replacement, return or disposal.
• Document and publish HAM policies and work instructions annually or as required.
• Lead audits and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and reporting.
• Provide sound consulting to customers on HAM solutions and business requirements.
