Job summary

Woollahra Council is seeking a permanent full-time Parking Enforcement Officer to join our Regulatory team along the harbour side of Sydney. You will patrol the Woollahra Municipality and enforce time-limited parking, events parking, and notices while delivering exceptional information and service to the community.

Successful applicants will work a 14-day roster, with every second weekend and at least one afternoon shift per week, and will receive 5 weeks annual leave plus 12% superannuation and

Qualifications

• Current Class C driver's licence.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and see tasks through to completion.
• Proven ability to handle difficult situations.
• Commitment to Woollahra Council’s values and to diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Enforce time-limited parking and on-street restrictions.
• Enforce parking for events and manage notices compliance.
• Provide information and assist customers while patrolling.
• Record offences accurately and report findings.
• Adhere to WHS and EEO guidelines and work outdoors.
