North Sydney Council is seeking a Turf Operations team member to maintain public parks and sports fields in the North Sydney area. You’ll perform mowing, turf prep, pruning, watering, and weed and pest control to keep spaces vibrant and safe for the community.

This role offers a 76-hour fortnight roster with a day off, salary range of 66,679 to 79,351 AUD plus 12% super and a transport allowance, and benefits such as harbour-view work locations and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Maintains public parks and sports fields in North Sydney LG area.
• Performs mowing, rolling, turf prep, pruning, mulching, planting, watering.

Responsibilities

• Managing weeds, pests and diseases.
• General site management to keep areas clean and safe.
• Identify and report maintenance needs for fences and seating.
