Job summary

Luna Park Sydney is seeking enthusiastic Events Waitstaff to join its high-energy harbour-side team. You will deliver polished food and beverage service during immersive shows, conferences, cocktail parties and gala dinners at Australia’s iconic venue.

The role is casual, pays $35.30 per hour, and requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays. RSA and WWCC clearance are required; availability for New Year’s Eve Harbour Party is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality or events.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• A positive and friendly attitude towards guests of all ages.
• Capability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Events team to deliver smooth service in a fast-paced venue.
• Check on guests during events to ensure needs are met.
• Provide friendly food and beverage service for events.
• Support setup, pack-down, and presentation of event spaces.
• Follow hygiene, WHS, and venue policies.
