Job summary

Ayers Rock Resort is seeking a Hands-on Handyperson to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT, 20 minutes from Uluru. You will join our Hotel Maintenance Team, carrying out fabrication, maintenance, repair and installations across the designated hotel zone, using your trade skills to keep guest areas running smoothly.

This role requires a current Full Australian Driver's License and offers opportunities for development, relocation assistance, staff facilities, and a chance to be part of a memorable

Qualifications

• Hands-on trade experience in a maintenance or construction environment.
• Ability to perform fabrication, maintenance, repair and installations.
• Knowledge of building construction and systems relevant to hotel upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repairs in a professional manner.
• Perform minor repairs, service and fault finding on guest room HVAC, lighting, locks and safes.
• Maintain tools and perform preventative maintenance per manuals.

Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Handyperson to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.

An eager Handyperson who has hands on experience within a trade environment and has knowledge of building construction to join our Hotel Maintenance Team. This role will see you carry out fabrication, maintenance, repair and installations of all aspects of the designated hotel zone.

This role requires a current Full Australian Drivers License.

Key Duties

• Carry out all related maintenance and repairs as requested in a professional-like manner.
• Minor repairs, reprogramming, service and fault finding to guest room air-conditioning units, hotel lighting and electronic door locks and room safes.
• Be responsible for the maintenance and security of all tools provided.
• Carry out all preventative maintenance as per the schedule laid down by the programmed maintenance manuals.
