You’ll work with a small, professional team, receive a company van and tools, ABN contractor arrangement, and overtime options on Saturdays. Competitive hourly rate between $40 and $60 depending on experience, with long-term opportunities.

Qualifikationen

At Upright Property Maintenance, we've been servicing strata and real estate clients across Sydney for over 10 years. We're known for our professionalism, quality workmanship, and reliable service. With a strong reputation and a growing client base, we're expanding our team and looking for a motivated handyman/tradesman to join our trusted crew. We have a full time office admin team who organise scheduling of works and load onto our Job Management Application daily.

About the Role:

We're seeking a reliable, skilled, and self-motivated handyman/sales estimator to carry out a range of maintenance and repair tasks across residential and strata properties.

Typical Tasks Include (Handyman):

• Minor carpentry and repair works
• Basic tiling, patching, and painting
• Garden clean-ups and lawn care
• Minor plastering and gyprock repairs
• Rubbish removal and site clean-up
• Pressure Washing
• Make Safe Works
• Attend properties to inspect and assess maintenance issues.
• Identify problems and recommend suitable repair solutions.
• Prepare accurate quotes and scopes of work.
• Calculate labour, material and equipment costs.
• Take measurements, photos and notes during inspections.
• Liaise with tradespeople and suppliers for pricing.
• Communicate with property managers, strata managers and clients.
• Follow up on quotes and client enquiries.
• Identify additional maintenance work opportunities.
• Manage daily inspections and complete quotes on time.
• Have good knowledge of various trades and property maintenance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a handyman or in a relevant trade (minimum 5 years)
• Valid ABN
• Full unrestricted driver's licence
• Full Australian working rights
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Well-presented, punctual, and professional
• Ability to work independently and manage your own jobs
• Willingness to work overtime on some Saturdays (optional)
