Job summary

AVG (Australian Valve Group) on the Gold Coast is seeking a hands-on Team Leader to manage a small warehouse team at Luscombe. You will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, ensure accurate picking/packing, and maintain stock control within a safe, organized environment.

The role requires previous warehouse supervision, a forklift licence, strong IT skills, and knowledge of WHS. A Certificate III/IV in Warehousing or Logistics is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Valid LF forklift licence.
• Strong understanding of warehouse, inventory and dispatch processes.
• Sound computer skills, including inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and workflow.
• Supervise and support warehouse staff.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing and dispatch of orders.
• Maintain stock accuracy and inventory control.
• Coordinate receivals, put-away and replenishment.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised warehouse.
• Monitor productivity and address operational issues.
• Ensure procedures and company policies are followed.
• Support stock takes and investigate discrepancies.
• Work closely with sales, customer service and logistics teams to meet customer requirements.
