Job summary

Cummins Tamworth, NSW, is seeking a talented Supervisor, Truck Bay to lead a team of 12-14 technicians and apprentices. You will coach, mentor and direct work, review repair plans, source materials and manage subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes.

You will promote safety, quality and customer service, contribute to KPIs, and sometimes be hands-on with tools. This 100% on-site role operates Monday to Friday at a state-of-the-art Tamworth branch.

Qualifications

• Qualified Heavy Diesel Automotive Mechanic is preferred, but a Light Vehicle background with heavy experience may be considered.
• Experience supervising or mentoring a team in a workshop is preferred, but not essential.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on approach with a strong commitment to safety, quality and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of approximately 12 to 14 technicians and apprentices toward KPIs.
• Provide work direction and coordinate repair plans, materials and subcontractors.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety & Environmental policies and report incidents to Branch Leadership.
• Be a hands-on tools Supervisor from time to time.
