Job summary

Indi Creative is seeking a hands-on Social Media Content Creator, Videographer & Editor to own content production for Cameron Profitt’s personal brand and the Indi Creative agency. You will participate in idea development, plan shoots, operate cameras, set up lighting, and produce fast-paced content tailored for social media.

Social Media Content Creator, Videographer & Editor

Are you constantly thinking of new content ideas, reel concepts, podcast clips and ways to make videos more engaging?

We are looking for a creative, switched-on Social Media Content Creator to take ownership of content production for Cameron Profitt’s personal brand, @cameronprofittt, and digital marketing agency, @indicreativeagency.

This is not a role where you will simply be handed footage and told to edit it.

You will help develop ideas, plan shoots, operate the camera, direct new content series, set up lighting, produce podcasts and turn raw footage into high-performing social media content.

You will work directly with Cameron and the Indi Creative team from our Hawkesbury office, five days per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Filming and editing short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube
• Developing fresh content ideas for Cameron’s personal brand and Indi Creative
• Directing recurring content series, business skits and talking-head videos
• Planning and orchestrating podcast recordings
• Setting up cameras, microphones, lighting and podcast equipment
• Turning long-form recordings into reels, clips and social content
• Adding captions, music, graphics, transitions and sound effects
• Organising footage, project files and the content production schedule
• Helping improve hooks, pacing, storytelling and overall content quality
• Staying across current social media formats, editing styles and trends

About You

You understand what makes people stop scrolling.

You have strong filming and editing skills and can take an idea from concept through to the finished video. You are creative, organised and confident enough to contribute your own ideas rather than waiting for instructions.

You should be comfortable directing people on camera, setting up a professional shoot and producing fast-paced content designed for social media.

Experience with software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or CapCut is highly regarded.

Qualifications are not essential. Your portfolio, creativity, work ethic and ability to produce great content matter more to us.
