Job summary

Lewis Land is a property and hospitality group seeking a Maintenance and Building Manager for Oaks Redcliffe Mon Komo Suites. The role oversees day-to-day maintenance, coordinates with contractors and drives planned and preventative activity to keep the property safe and well‑presented.

This hands-on role requires proactive problem solving, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy hotel and mixed-use environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotels, residential, and/or commercial property environments.
• Experience coordinating contractors and maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and building maintenance requirements.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A hands-on, proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the property's day-to-day maintenance operations.
• Coordinate and work with external contractors.
• Deliver planned and preventative maintenance activities across the property.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in maintaining compliance, safety and essential services records.
• Contribute to maintenance planning, forecasting and asset improvement initiatives.
• Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance priorities.
• Support refurbishment, repair and improvement projects as required.
• Liaise with hotel management, guests, residents, owners and contractors on maintenance matters.
• Participate in Body Corporate meetings with the General Manager when required.
