Job summary

Staff Australia is seeking a Senior Processing Manager to oversee the end-to-end PM processing shift, ensuring safe unloading, processing, sorting and dispatch. You will manage workforce planning, productivity, safety, and compliance while driving improvements across the operation.

This role requires visible leadership, hands-on involvement in a busy site, and the ability to lead from the front while developing supervisors and teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading high-volume operations in transport, warehousing or parcel processing.
• Strong leadership and people management capability.
• Advanced rostering and labour planning skills.
• Understanding of productivity and cost management.
• Experience using operational reporting and KPIs to drive results.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong safety and compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end PM processing operation.
• Oversee unloading, scanning, sortation and dispatch activities.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight movements.
• Drive on-time departures and service performance.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks quickly.
• Coach and develop supervisors and operational teams.
• Set expectations and accountability across shifts.
• Recruit, onboard and train new staff.
• Foster ownership, safety and continuous improvement.
• Manage shift rostering and labour allocation.
