Job summary

Fuse Recruitment are exclusively partnered with a leading Australasian manufacturing brand and are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join their Ingleburn facility. You will supervise a team of four fitters and electricians and stay hands-on across two key production lines within a large-scale, automated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter or Industrial Electrician.
• Experience supervising or leading a maintenance team.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of automated production equipment.
• PLC fault-finding experience, particularly Allen Bradley / Siemens.
• Experience with conveyors, shredders, optical sorting equipment.
• Electrical Disconnect/Reconnect competency.
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance and equipment reliability.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong commitment to WHS.
• Forklift licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and support a maintenance team.
• Oversee maintenance activities across two key production lines.
• Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance across plant and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical faults.
• Maintain and repair automated processing equipment, conveyors and production machinery.
• Carry out servicing and maintenance of shredders and optical sorting equipment.
• Coordinate and participate in repairs across site plant and equipment.
• Manage critical spare parts and maintenance inventory.
• Lead small maintenance projects and equipment installations.
• Work closely with Operations, Engineering and Production to improve equipment reliability.
• Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve plant performance.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
