Job summary

St Patrick’s College in Prospects, Tasmania, is seeking a passionate Teacher of Food, Cooking & Nutrition (Years 7–12) for a limited tenure part-time role (0.69 FTE) for the 2027 school year. You will teach across Years 7–12, run practical cookery sessions in a commercial-style kitchen, and guide students in culinary skills, safety and nutrition.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience under the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher with eligibility to teach in Tasmanian Catholic Education settings.

Responsibilities

• Teach Food Technology / Nutrition to Years 7–12 across a limited tenure, 0.69 FTE.
• Deliver engaging, hands-on cookery classes and kitchen activities.
• Promote safe, student-centred learning and align with Australian Curriculum.
