Job summary

St James Catholic College in Cygnet, TAS, is seeking a Secondary Teacher to deliver Food Technology, Nutrition, Hospitality and VET programs. The role supports Catholic principles and wellbeing, with a focus on inclusive practice and student growth.

The successful candidate will hold Tasmanian teaching registration (or be willing to obtain) and contribute to a collaborative school culture within a tight-knit rural community. This is a permanent/ongoing, 0.60 FTE appointment.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach Religious Education with accreditation.
• Solid understanding of Australian Curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Strong classroom management and planning abilities.
• Experience in differentiating instruction for diverse learners.
• Evidence of professional collaboration with families and colleagues.
