Job summary

Terrain Group is seeking a hands-on Fencing Foreman to lead field crews while actively participating in the work. This role combines leadership with skilled labour, requiring safe, high‑quality fence installations and efficient project execution.

You'll supervise daily activities, operate equipment, mentor crew members, and ensure projects meet scope, schedule and safety standards. A strong communicator who thrives in a busy field team will excel.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of fencing, construction, landscaping, or related experience.
• Previous crew leader or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience installing wood, chain link, or other fencing systems.
• Valid driver's license (AR license considered an asset).
• Strong understanding of safe work practices and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily crew activities in fencing projects.
• Assign tasks and manage workflow to maximize productivity.
• Execute fencing work according to project plans and specifications.
• Operate hand and power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Train, mentor, and support crew members.
• Communicate project updates to the Project Supervisor.
• Track daily production, labour hours, and project progress.
