Australian Awning Group in Melbourne is seeking a hands-on casual factory assistant to join a small, friendly team environment. The role encompasses assembly work, manual loading and unloading of deliveries, deliveries to Melbourne Metro areas, and picking/packing orders with dispatch assistance.

On-the-job training is provided. A full driver’s licence with a clean driving history is required, and a forklift licence would be advantageous. Flexible work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• The ability to lift up to 25kg.
• A full drivers licence with a clean driving history.
• A forklift licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Some assembly work.
• Manual loading and unloading of delivery trucks and containers.
• Deliveries to Melbourne Metro areas.
• Picking and packing orders, assisting with dispatch.
