Job summary

DSV Global Transport and Logistics – Laverton VIC is seeking a Driver's Assistant to support drivers across Melbourne, loading and unloading freight and assisting with deliveries. You’ll provide excellent customer service and help ensure safety and efficiency every day.

No prior experience required; a positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork are valued as you learn the logistics business and build a hands-on career.

Qualifications

Ability to obtain and maintain a Police check and Security clearance.
Reliable, ready to get stuck in and work well with others.
Enjoys physical, hands-on work and understands safety.
Eager to learn and build a career in logistics.
Previous experience in transport or logistics is a bonus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

Ride along with our Drivers across Melbourne.
Help load, unload, and move freight safely.
Assist with deliveries and pick-ups at customer locations.
Be the extra set of hands that keeps operations running smoothly.
Check freight and delivery paperwork.
Deliver excellent customer service along the way.
Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a safe work environment.
Work as part of a supportive and hardworking team.
