Job summary

DSV is seeking a Supervisor, Operations to join our Contract Logistics team at Melbourne Airport, Watson Drive. You will lead and support a team to ensure safe, efficient and customer-focused operations, overseeing daily activities and driving continuous improvement.

Success comes from leadership in logistics, hands-on WMS experience, and a customer-first mindset. You’ll manage rostering, monitor KPIs, and uphold safety standards while building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

Are you an experienced logistics leader who enjoys developing teams, driving operational performance, and delivering outstanding customer service? We're looking for a Supervisor, Operations to join our Contract Logistics team and play a key role in the day-to-day success of our warehouse operations.

About the Role

As Supervisor, Operations, you'll lead and support a team to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations. You will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing performance, maintaining operational standards, and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop operational team members and team leaders.
• Drive safe and efficient warehouse operations.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and operational targets.
• Manage rostering and workforce allocation.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and service standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, operational and company procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with operational planning, reporting and customer growth opportunities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous leadership experience within logistics, warehousing or supply chain operations.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A customer-first mindset.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• A current Forklift Licence.
