Job summary

A seasoned Project Manager is sought by Austcorp for a Queensland construction business delivering government, residential and commercial projects from Brisbane southside office. You will own projects from planning through completion, mentor coordinators and maintain programme, contracts and risk controls.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in construction PM roles for Tier 2/3 builders, strong commercial discipline and experience with Design & Construct.

Qualifications

5–10 years' experience as a Project Manager in construction.
Experience with Tier 2 or Tier 3 builders and government projects.
Hands-on delivery style with strong commercial discipline.
Proven ability to lead programs, contracts and risk management.

Responsibilities

Take full responsibility for construction projects from planning through to completion and handover.
Develop, maintain and actively manage detailed construction programs.
Monitor milestones, resources and critical activities to meet delivery targets.
Manage budgets, forecasting, cash flow and financial performance.
Administer head contracts and ensure contractual obligations are met.
Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
Mentor and develop Project Coordinators and junior staff.
Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
Maintain clear communication with clients and manage stakeholder expectations.
Ensure compliance with quality, WHS and regulatory requirements.
