Job summary

Cortela Carbon Pty Ltd in Narangba, Queensland, is seeking a reliable Process Worker for our carbon workshop. You’ll handle carbon materials, operate workshop equipment, and support warehouse tasks in a hands-on role focused on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required; attitude, reliability, attendance and willingness to learn matter most.
• Hands-on, practical work with attention to quality output.
• Basic numeracy and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to use workshop tools safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process carbon materials using workshop equipment (band saws, table saws, pedestal drills).
• Measure and check components using callipers and precision tools.
• Carry out brush manufacturing tasks such as terminating, stamping, and tamping.
• Perform general metal work and production tasks as required.
• Support warehouse and materials handling activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Complete production documentation and follow procedures.
• Work safely and in line with company policies and WHS requirements.
