Bayside Health in Frankston, Victoria, is seeking an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join the Hand Therapy Service on a fixed-term part-time basis (44 hours per fortnight). The role focuses on hand trauma, acute injuries and upper limb conditions, delivering assessments, splinting and wound care within a collaborative team.

Applicants should have relevant registration with AHPRA, and strong communication skills; Accredited Hand Therapist status is desirable.

Formación

• Bachelor or tertiary equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.
• Current registration with the Occupational Therapy / Physiotherapy Board of Australia (via AHPRA).
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the management of acute and chronic and upper limb conditions.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills in a variety of settings.
• Accredited Hand Therapist (desirable).

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to patients with hand trauma, acute injuries and degenerative upper limb conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions including splinting and wound care.
• Support the management of surgical inpatients within a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise and mentor junior clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants.
