Job summary

Sydney Local Health District at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney seeks a Permanent Full Time Registered Nurse to join 7 West 1, a 24-bed high-acuity unit delivering stem cell transplant, CAR T-cell therapy and intensive chemotherapy.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient-centred care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

AHPRA registration, full working rights in Australia, and oncology/haematology experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Effective interpersonal skills and excellent written/verbal communication in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in oncology, critical care or other specialty units preferred.
• Experience in haematology or stem cell transplant nursing desirable but not essential.
• Recent acute nursing/hospital experience.
