Job summary

PCYC NSW is seeking a passionate Gymnastics Coach for our Lake Macquarie team to provide positive experiences for young people. This casual role involves delivering engaging, inclusive gymnastics classes and planning lesson content tailored to various ages and abilities.

You will support front-of-house tasks, help with admin duties, and foster a safe, collaborative club culture that emphasises respect, resilience and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Loves working with kids in a supportive, safe environment.
• Willingness to obtain Gymnastics Coaching Accreditation if not already held.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to inclusivity and positive youth development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exciting, safe and inclusive gymnastics classes.
• Design engaging lesson content for different ages and abilities.
• Support customer service and admin tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Create an environment that encourages resilience and confidence.
• Coach across programs from Kindergym to Parkour and Artistic Gymnastics.

$34.96 per hour (inclusive of casual loading)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Lake Macquarie team to provide positive experiences to young people.In this varied and flexible role, classified as a Gymnastics Coach under our Enterprise Agreement, you'll do more than just teach skills—you’ll role model our core values of Respect, Commitment, Resilience, Integrity, and Citizenship every day.

• Delivering exciting, safe and inclusive gymnastics classes
• Designing and planning engaging lesson content tailored to different ages and abilities
• Supporting customer service and admin tasks to ensure smooth operations
• Creating an environment that encourages resilience, teamwork and confidence
• Coaching across a wide range of programs – from Kindergym to Trampoline, TeamGym to Parkour, Cheerleading to Artistic Gymnastics

About You

Are you a passionate person and haveflexibility to work afternoons and evenings, school holidays and weekends? As well as;

• Loves working with kids and creating a positive, safe environment
• Has a strong interest in gymnastics or sport (Gymnastics Coaching Accreditation desirable – or willingness to obtain)
• Brings strong communication, reliability, and teamwork to the role
• Has (or can obtain) a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
• Previous experience in coaching, youth work, or customer service is a bonus!
