Job summary

YMCA Victoria is seeking a motivated Gymnastics Coach to join our Bellbird Park Indoor Centre in Drouin. This casual role focuses on delivering engaging gymnastics programs, helping kids learn, have fun and stay safe.

You will bring a Beginner Gymnastics coaching qualification, Gymnastics Victoria Technical Membership, CPR and First Aid, plus a proactive, positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills. The position offers flexible daytime hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• Beginner Gymnastics / Fundamental Gymnastics Coaching Qualification (Includes Principles of Coaching in Gym for All, Kinder gym, MAG or WAG).
• Gymnastics Victoria Technical Membership.
• HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
• HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.

Responsibilities

Bellbird Park Indoor Centre is a recreation stadiumlocated in Drouin, Victoria. Bellbird Park is 1 hour 20 mins away from Melbourne with a wide range of fitness, gymnastics and stadium programs.

About the role

We are looking for someone to jump on-board and use your experience and background in the industry to help teach and grow the gymnastics program in our Centre.

As a Gymnastics Instructor, you'll play a critical role in delivering top-notch programs and services that help kids thrive. With your expert knowledge of all aspects of YMCA gymnastics programs and your finger on the pulse of the latest educational trends and industry developments, you'll keep things fresh and exciting for your students.

We're looking for someone who brings boundless energy and motivation to the table, someone who's not afraid to think outside the box and bring their own creative ideas to the class environment. You'll be constantly learning and growing in this role, and you'll need to be ready to keep up with the latest industry innovations and techniques.

But most importantly, you'll be the one responsible for creating a fun and engaging atmosphere that puts the wellbeing of our young gymnasts front and centre. This is a casual position and the hourly rate is $34.96 per hour + Superannuation + Y Benefits.

Please note- junior rates apply for candidates under 18 years of age.

About you

We are seeking a motivated, organised and pro-active Gymnastics Coach to come and join the team. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and all facility users. Suitable for mums and anyone available to work day time hours.
