Yarra City Council is seeking a Gym Instructor across Yarra Leisure venues, including Richmond Recreation Centre, Fitzroy Swimming Pool, Collingwood Leisure Centre and Collingwood Estate Gym. This permanent, part-time role (~12–13 hours weekly) offers a supportive team and opportunities to tailor fitness programs and lead small groups.

You will hold Cert III/IV in Fitness (or equivalent), current First Aid, CPR, WWC checks and AUSactive registration, with a focus on inclusive community health

Qualificações

• Must hold Certificate III and/or IV in Fitness or equivalent.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Working with Children Check and AUSactive Registration.
• Experience in small group training and ability to assess participants' health.

Our community-focused gyms deliver accessible, inclusive and affordable health and fitness programs and services. Successful applicants may be rostered across Yarra Leisure venues including Richmond Recreation Centre, Fitzroy Swimming Pool, Collingwood Leisure Centre and Collingwood Estate Gym.

At City of Yarra, we are seeking motivated and skilled Gym Instructors who bring strong interpersonal abilities, a commitment to high-quality customer service, and the capability to design and deliver personalised fitness programs. You will need relevant qualifications, including a Certificate III and IV in Fitness (or equivalent), current First Aid, CPR and Working with Children Check certifications and AUSactive Fitness Registration. Experience in small group training, knowledge of fitness equipment, and the ability to assess participants' health are essential.
