Job summary

Location Fitness PTY LTD is seeking a Gym Attendant in Goulburn, NSW for a permanent part-time role (3pm–7pm weekdays and 9am–1pm every second Saturday). You will keep the facility clean, welcoming and safe for all members while supporting front desk operations and member services.

Key duties include cleaning facilities, equipment checks, assisting with setup and minor repairs, restocking supplies and reporting maintenance issues.

• Previous experience in a customer-facing service environment.

• Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and move equipment.
• Reliability and punctuality with fixed part-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all gym facilities.
• Perform regular equipment checks and sanitation procedures.
• Greet members professionally and provide support / answer inquiries.

• Restock towels, amenities and cleaning products.
• Monitor the gym floor to keep areas tidy during hours of operation.

Location Fitness PTY LTD is seeking a Gym Attendant to join our team in Goulburn, NSW. This is a permanent part-time position (3pm-7pm weekdays and 9am-1pm every second Saturday) that plays a vital role in maintaining our facility and delivering excellent member service. As a Gym Attendant, you will be the face of our gym, ensuring our facility remains clean, welcoming and safe for all members.

Key responsibilities

Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all gym facilities, including equipment, changing rooms, bathrooms and common areas

Performing regular equipment checks and sanitation procedures to ensure member safety and satisfaction

Greeting members in a friendly and professional manner, providing support and answering general inquiries

Assisting with equipment setup, maintenance and minor repairs as required

Restocking supplies such as towels, amenities and cleaning products throughout the facility

Monitoring the gym floor to ensure facilities remain tidy and organised during operating hours

Supporting front desk operations including member check-ins and signups

Following health, safety and hygiene protocols and reporting any maintenance issues promptly

About you

Previous experience in a customer-facing service environment (preferred but not essential)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour

Physical fitness to perform duties that require standing for extended periods, lifting and moving equipment and weights

Reliability and punctuality with the ability to work fixed permanent part-time hours

A passion for fitness and wellness, and enthusiasm for supporting our fitness community

Basic understanding of gym equipment and health and safety practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
