Job summary

Dooleys Lidcombe Catholic Club in Lidcombe NSW is seeking a Gym Instructor to support members on the gym floor, design customised fitness programs, and run small group training sessions.

You’ll greet members, maintain high facility standards, and handle admin tasks for memberships. Eligibility includes Cert III in Fitness or relevant Bachelor, First Aid/CPR, WWCC, RSA, RCG. On offer: annual leave loading, meals discount, free gym membership, and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Fitness or relevant Bachelor Degree.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Working With Children’s Check (WWCC).
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Greeting members and handling enquiries with attention.
• Engaging, motivating and assisting members on the gym floor.
• Conducting fitness consultations and designing customised programs.
• Executing small group training sessions with focus on motivation.
• Maintaining gym floor and facility standards.
• Membership services duties such as admin and enquiries.

Education

Job Description:

The position is working as part of a team of staff to ensure all of the members and guests are provided with the best support and motivation to keep training consistently and to reach their health and Fitness goals. To ensure that the facility is well maintained and clean and that all equipment is operating at an optimum level with minimum downtime

Responsibilities:

• Greeting members and attending to enquiries with 100% attention
• Engaging, motivating and assisting members on the Gym Floor
• Conducting fitness consultations including designing customised fitness programs
• Executing small group training sessions with a focus on innovation + motivation
• Maintaining Gym Floor and Facility standards
• Membership Services duties such as admin and member enquires

Position Requirements

• Cert III in Fitness or relevant Bachelor Degree
• First Aid & CPR
• Working With Children’s Check
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Qualification
• Responsible Conduct of Gaming Qualification
