Job summary

Kingfisher Bay Resort on K’gari (Fraser Island) seeks a Guest Service Agent for the Front Office. You will welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, respond to enquiries and coordinate seamless arrivals and departures on Australia’s iconic island.

You’ll bring guest services experience, strong communication, and familiarity with RMS/Opera/Sihot booking systems; First Aid certification is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with island living benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest services or reception in hospitality.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required.
• First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.

About the Role

As a Guest Service Agent, you'll be one of the first friendly faces our guests meet and one of the last they'll remember. Working as part of our Front Office team, you'll welcome guests, manage check‑ins and check‑outs, respond to enquiries and help create a seamless experience from arrival to departure. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist with reservations, enquiries and guest requests
• Share local knowledge and recommendations with guests
• Maintain accurate guest records and booking information
• Help create exceptional guest experiences every day

About You

You're a people person who enjoys helping others and creating positive guest experiences.

You'll bring:

• Experience in guest services, reception or customer‑facing hospitality roles
• Experience in a hotel, resort or tourism environment highly regarded
• Experience using RMS, Opera, Sihot or similar booking systems
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
