Job summary

The Ville in Townsville is hiring a Guest Service Agent to join our Hotel Front Office team on a permanent part-time basis. You will be the face of our brand, ensuring every guest has a memorable experience from check-in to check-out.

We value a calm, professional demeanor, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be prepared for a rotating roster including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in Front Office Guest Services is preferred.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer literacy; experience with Opera Cloud would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays.

About You

• Previous experience in a Front Office Guest Services role is preferred
• Demonstrated professionalism with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer literacy skills, experience with a property management system, in particular Opera Cloud would be advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Ability to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
