Job summary

The Calile Hotel in Brisbane is seeking a full-time Guest Services Agent to join our Front Office team. You will welcome guests warmly and ensure a seamless stay from arrival to departure.

You will manage reservations, guest inquiries and requests with accuracy while providing personalised local recommendations and coordinating with housekeeping and other departments. Opera Cloud experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within a 5 star hotel environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Attention to detail with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Passion for creating memorable, personalised guest experiences.
• Experience using Opera Cloud is highly regarded.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.

The Position

We are seeking a full-time Guest Services Agent to join our Front Office team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will deliver a warm, personalised welcome and ensure every stay is seamless from arrival to departure. Key responsibilities include:

• Welcome and check in guests with efficiency and genuine care
• Manage reservations, guest enquiries and requests with accuracy and attention to detail
• Provide tailored local recommendations that enhance the guest experience
• Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally and promptly
• Coordinate closely with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain accurate records using hotel systems, including Opera Cloud

About You

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within a 5 star hotel environment
• A natural talent for conversation and building genuine connections
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A keen eye for detail and a positive, can do attitude
• Passion for creating memorable and personalised guest experiences
• Confident using hotel booking systems, with Opera Cloud experience highly regarded
